Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How do I cancel my subscription? Open the App Store app on your Mac, click your name at the bottom of the sidebar, click Manage, find Image Converter, and select Cancel Subscription. You will retain Pro access until the end of your current billing period.

Q: I was charged but didn't get Pro access. What do I do? First, open the app, open the Upgrade to Pro screen, and tap Restore Purchases at the bottom. If the issue persists, contact us at support.hamna@gmail.com with your Apple ID and we'll resolve it promptly.

Q: How do I restore my purchases on a new Mac? Open the app, tap the "Upgrade to Pro" card in the sidebar (or Settings → Purchases → Restore), and tap Restore Purchases. Your subscription will unlock automatically once verified with your Apple ID.

Q: The app is crashing or not working properly. What should I do? Try the following steps:

  1. Close and reopen the app
  2. Restart your Mac
  3. Update the app to the latest version from the App Store
  4. Check that you've granted access to the folder you're exporting to, if prompted
  5. Reinstall the app if the issue persists

If none of these work, email us with your Mac model and macOS version.

Q: How do I request a refund? Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com to request one.

Q: Is my data private? Yes. Image Converter does not create accounts and does not collect personal information. Every image you resize, convert, compress, rotate, crop, watermark, or rename is processed entirely on your Mac — nothing is uploaded to us or to any third party, and we don't operate a server that sees or stores your photos. Q: What's included with Pro? Pro subscribers get:

  • Unlimited conversions across every tool (the free tier is limited to 5 free conversions for Convert, and 1 free run each for Resize, Rotate, Crop, Watermark, Compress, and Rename)
  • Full batch processing with no per-run limits
  • Priority batch processing
  • Cancel anytime
