Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How do I cancel my subscription? Open the App Store app on your Mac, click your name at the bottom of the sidebar, click Manage, find Image Search For Safari, and select Cancel Subscription. You will retain Pro access until the end of your current billing period.

Q: I was charged but didn't get Pro access. What do I do? First, open the app, go to the Pro upgrade screen, and tap Restore Purchases. If the issue persists, contact us at support.hamna@gmail.com with your Apple ID and we'll resolve it promptly.

Q: How do I restore my purchases on a new Mac? Open the app, open the Pro upgrade screen (tap the "Upgrade to Pro" banner in the sidebar, or trigger it from the Safari extension), and tap Restore Purchases at the bottom of the screen.

Q: The app or Safari extension is crashing or not working properly. What should I do? Try the following steps:

  1. Close and reopen the app
  2. Restart your Mac
  3. Update the app to the latest version from the App Store
  4. In Safari, go to Safari → Settings → Extensions and confirm Image Search For Safari is turned on
  5. Reinstall the app if the issue persists

If none of these work, email us with your Mac model and macOS version.

Q: How do I request a refund? Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com to request one.

Q: Is my data private? Yes. Image Search For Safari does not create accounts and does not collect personal information. Reverse image searches are sent directly from your Mac to the search engine you choose (Google Lens, Bing Visual, TinEye, or Yandex) — we don't operate a server that sees or stores your searches. Q: What's included with Pro? Pro subscribers get:

  • Unlimited reverse image searches (the free tier is limited to 2 searches)
  • Full use of the Safari extension — right-click any image on the web to search it
  • Complete, unlimited search history
  • All future search engines added to the app, at no extra cost
